The Time Machine - 2019

Project: Conceptual interpretation of the last remnants of the human race which have evolved to survive underwater as a result of the changing climate, created for an immersive performance context.

 

Costume: Stretch suit made for stilt walker including padding and shaping to cover the stilts and covered with texture made from layered organza. The edge was coated in silicone and glow in the dark pigment. My goal was to create a costume that could transition between light and dark in addition to being appropriate for a stilt walker to wear.
